Inspired Room Readers

rosecottageWelcome! Like Melissa, I’m passionate about living an authentic life. Part of that comes by way of discovering, shaping, and living your legacy. Your individual legacy is a lifeprint that’s unique to you, like a fingerprint. Each person, company, place, family, and home is living a story that develops into a legacy.

What’s yours?

Do you need some guidance to discover, claim, create, or hone your legacy? Do you need a “realignment” so that your life matches what you say your priorities are? Do you want to make certain you’re fulfilling your God-given purpose in this world? If so, I am honored to help through a Legacy Statement session. The process is gently aggressive and simply profound. We will talk via phone (I call you) through a series of questions that runs the gamut of lighthearted to thought-provoking. Your responses are composed into a draft statement, and soon after we reconvene to see what other potent remnants have bubbled up from your memories and dreams. From there, you have your Legacy Statement, which serves not as a document set in stone but as a fluid and evolving manifesto for your daily life. One-on-one Legacy Statement sessions last eighty minutes and are conducted by telephone. The fee is $300 and includes a beautifully designed written copy of your statement suitable for framing—or taping to your bathroom mirror as a daily reminder. Gift certificates are available. Give as gifts to those you love.

I’m offering a brand-new service: helping you put your home’s legacy into words. Your home is an extention of you, not only in the look and feel, but also its purpose—its legacy. It can be a mixture of your house’s history and former uses with a heavy concentration on its current incarnation with you and your family as its caretakers. You also get a special rate of $250 if you pay for your session by December 31 (you can book it for later).

I’ll be featuring tips and questions on my blog to help you uncover what your legacy is and how to claim and live it more fully. Drop in anytime! I’m always up for a virtual cup of coffee or tea. Put some Moravian ginger cookies or my mother’s pumpkin bread with it and we’ll have a vesper party. I hope you’ll enjoy your time at Life In First Person and find it helpful to (re)discovering a more authentic, joy-filled life. If you’re working on a memoir or desire to tell your story in another form, please check out the work I’m involved with at www.whitlineink.com and see if we’d be a good fit for your project. Blessings, and many prayers that the upcoming holiday season will see your halls decked and your hearts overflowing with all of life’s good stuff!
